Setup

Make the trap obvious to people and useful against bots.

A good setup keeps real members away from the trap while still giving automated spam accounts a visible target.

1. Create the trap channel.Use a name that makes the rule clear, such as #do-not-type-here or #bot-trap.
2. Create the staff log channel.Keep logs private to moderators or admins.
3. Add TrapGuard.Use the Add TrapGuard button, then return to the dashboard.
4. Choose both channels.Pick the honeypot and log channel from the server setup page.
5. Pin the warning.TrapGuard posts the warning. Keep it visible.
